NOV 2010 IS A VERY BIG ELECTION: most Montana State Reps for our county are Term limited!

Open offices in Ravalli County, Montana

  • Clerk & Recorder/Superintendent of Schools (County positions require only 30 day residency)
  • County Administrator
  • Three (3) County Commissioners (Rokosch, Driscoll, Grandstaff)
  • County Treasurer/Surveyor
  • Sheriff/Coroner (18 Years old, unknown residency; check Montana Code  Ann.)
  • County Attorney/Auditor (2 yr. residency in state/ 5 years practice in any state)

JUSTICE OF PEACE (two positions; 18 years old, 30 day residency) bring justice to the Bitterroot! These are non-party postitions.

District Court- Judge Lanton has found a way to stay a judge.

NOTE: state offices and national offices are handled at the Secretary of State office, Helena

State Senate   Rick Liable is term limited, Shockley is up for re-election.  If anybody watched the Legislature, Mr. Shockley probably has served his time there.  He is a bit of a bully in the capitol.

House Districts 87,88,89,90 are all up for election to represent the Bitterroot in Helena.  Please stand up and make a difference, speak for us, and serve our valley!

US Representative This seat us up for grabs.  Most likely Rehberg vs. Montana State Dem. Chairman

The contest is between the current Sherrif, and Wayne Kelley Libertarian, and Constitutionalist.  Please, do some research on these candidates.....it is like night and day.

Wayne Kelley on Google search, and Hoffman as lame duck Sheriff.
